for the last week ive been getting a weird squelching sound coming from i thing near the left front wheel.
it goes with the spin of the wheel. ie slow spin squelch....... squelch.......
fast spin squelch, squelch, squelch, squelch
i thought at first my tyre wasnt inflated.. it was
then checked my tyre wasnt hittin arches.. it wasnt
visibly i cant see much wrong,any ideas?

i had something similar years ago and turned out to be the wheel bearing was a tad slack

few checks you can do to see if its the bearing:
stand beside the wheel you think its on and try to push the wheel inwards (kick push will do) if it moves abit its most likely the bearing is gone, to double check it just jack the car up and try rock it again you'l find it better then.....
: could also be that your brake caliper has come loose and your brake pads are rubbing of the disc....
: worst case scenario, happened me (got at it lucky enough) the split pin at the hub nut is loose/broke.gone ( the nut in the middle when you take off the wheel) this could cause your wheel to actually just fly off....
try checking them if its not them i dont know soz...

alrite get at it this afternoon when my gf (and the mini) is back, lets hope its not that split pin!!

Had the same noise - it was the wheel bearing.
