Hello everyone you will all think that im a complete idot when i ask my question

I have this problem that keeps happening every now and then i took it to a garage to get the problem fixed but it still not fixed.

The 1" 1/2 bypass hose that goes from the what ever to the what ever keeps on blowing it happened to me 4 times this year alone and i slowy but surely getting cheesed of with it. Can anyone give me some guidelines or tell me what could be wrong with it.

what hose do you use to replace the bypass hose

if you remove the water pump you can use a normal pice of pipe

if you leave the water pump in place then you have to use a very thin hose to squash in place and it doesnt take very long before it blows again :smartass:

I had used a normal peice of hose but that still went bang. The Garage said there was nothing wrong with it. But Then i Got thinking why was it blow was it because there is comprestion somewhere or is there an air lock????

Of course im going i got a friend who got a mini cooper and he's coming down to.

I dont know which hose it is all i know that it goes from the head to something else i know each bit where the hose goes onto has to indentations on them which a right poo to do

i think its the bypass hose between the head and water pump is it very short ?
