hi there anyone going to th mini weekend at euro disney and catching the early ferry .if so would you like to convoy down,

Hi, were going!!!!! I think were getting the early ferry ( 7.55? will check when I get home later). Were heading down from suffolk & will be staying in Dover the night before so were ready for the off the next day!! Will be taking my girlfriends mini which continues the pink theme as she has a metallic pink roof!! I'm doing the driving though, been on BH to n'burg run a couple of times but always been the co driver so this time it will be interesting!

were only 30 miles from dover so hoping to get there bout 6.30 i think ill lt her drive be nice to follow some one and be nice if w can get a nice little convoy going.

Thats me!!!, would def love to get a little convoy going! the guy at the travel company said there were 35 confirmed bookings for this trip but i don't know which ferry they are all going on, there must be more TMF members out there who are going, but yes would love to meet up and drive down together! I'm really excited about going!

bit to old to be excited but am looking forward to it.so with that amount of people expect we should be able to get a little run going as long as you 1275s dont go to fast as we only have a 1000.

hello again, yep we are on the 7.55 ferry!
I'll be driving so harmony wont speed off, we have no idea of the route but we bought a tom tom europe last week so should be ok!! Oh, & youre never too old to get excited

sure the excitement will rise as time gets nearer have a couple of things to do on her before we go. are def on the 7.55 so we can follow you and your sat nav and we have a routemaster map if all else fails,gonna be fun.

If you google 'magical mini adventure' it brings up the great days web site, all the info is on there and you can print off the application form too

Was just thinking about the coming trip, when I've done the Brands Hatch to Nurburgring run we all had little 2 way radios which were great for communicating on the dual carriageways ie if you need petrol, have a problem, need a wee etc! Theyre quite cheap really But very useful, saves alot of flashing headlamps & wondering what the mini behind is doing!!

Would be good idea to grab yourself one if you havnt already got one!! Sorting Harmony's oil, plugs & filter tonight & a mate is fitting a 12v socket for the Tom Tom too!!

Have you any details please, who is organising the event, is it inclusive, any prices, any dates etc or is this an idependent event you are organising yourself or is the an event being organised by another club?

Is it proper Minis or will BINI's be attending too?

re the handsets any particular brand we should look for can you get these in maplins.
th car is all ready to go just a quick wash and polish.
che the event is next week on the 2.10.08 through greatdays travel around £220pp believe there are around 40 cars from uk and some from holland and miniworld are going along
could be fun

Hi Che,

This little jaunt was run last year for the first time, its run & organised by great days travel but promoted by Miniworld. As Harmony said earlier google 'magical mini adventure' & click on the greatdays one & it will give you all the info. Not sure whether they are still taking bookings as we had to pay by the end of July for ours but worth a try. As for the B i's, not sure, you have to presume there's the chance of a rogue one slipping in > was mostly real mini's from the photos we saw of the last one!

Maplins as good a place as any to get the radios, we got ours from argos

Harmony's all oiled up with new plugs etc now my attentions must turn to my mini who's waiting in the garage for a polish before leaving for castle Comb on friday
