Has anybody applied a roof decal to their Mini with a sunroof? I'm thinking of getting one, but not sure how difficult it will be to do it myself without messing it up.

Hi,

I have a sunroof too and was wondering about fitting a decal. My verdict was that it'll look stupid as the sunroof is not flush with the roof skin!

I am now thinking of painting my roof gloss black (its plain old blue - the colour of the car atm) and then getting some black vinyl self-adhesive sheet (like the material sunstrips are made out of) and covering the sunroof glass with this

do you have a glass or soft sunroof?

I have a glass roof. I wasn't sure it would look great either, so was leaning towards not getting one. However, I saw this picture and it looks okay. My only concern is that it won't look as good when I do it.

ah... when you said sunroof i thought of a big hole in the roof with a peace of cloth over it... seen this done on a bini, looked quite goos, but i supect it takes quite a bit of work to make it look good

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Don't really want to pay anyone to fit it, but don't really trust myself.
