Great car, but I'd have to say, I personally wouldn't want it because its just not, I dunno Mini enough :S

I'm sure there were 2 other minis shown about the same time as the 'hot Rod'.... I'll have to sift through the copious amounts of Minimags I've got secreted around the house and shed... can anyone remember the year? (90-92 ish?)

how long have they been doing R1 conversions?? i bet not as long as that program....just look...he has poofy hair
and besides, its not all about r1...i dont want an R1 in my mini's id much rather have a twink and a turbo charger/supercharger...tottaly different styles
