Sky and Rose were two different limited editions. It's probably on the log book as a "Sky Rose", and been resprayed black.

no its either a sky or rose...
roses have pink roofs
skys have blue....

i thought they were, but why has it only 6 letters and numbers on the plate? sorry for being such a spoon, and when you get insurance you type the reg number and it comes up with the car but when i put that reg in it said car not found

but just to add, it really has been changed from the sky/rose trim. you need to consider why ???

to be honest the sky and the rose were very feminine cars so its probably just been redone to get rid of "that" look.

if it was me i would be asking, just to see what the answer is

It was originally a sky/rose, well the registration was...

However, not only were they white with either a pink (rose) or blue (sky) roof they were also renowned for being one of the quickest rusting minis ever produced... therefore it's either the original car in a different shell ( would not surprise me ) or it's been resprayed.

reason they are called sky rose's is because that's what's on the V5.
