I needed to have 1/3 choke pon all the time else my motor would stall. I had tried cleaning the carb, stripping it, everything I could think of. Then, on Friday I heard a back-fire. Timing, I thought.
Today, I finally got around to looking at it, and yes. Vacuum advance pipe had pulled off :nugget:
It was so hidden under all the gubbins that I had not noticed the pipe floating around!
I see it as 1 more reason to get a cone filter not the standard plastic frisbee, because then I would have seen it! :fear:

Choke to idle- I'VE FOUND IT!!!

It's nice to have an excuse to get something new an shiny!
I have to really struggle to think of them sometimes!

Tis, altho I aint keeping her for much longer. I need a Mini that is more reliable (if such a car exists without a BMW badge) that I know wont break down at the petrol station like she did tonight! It was only a blocked carb, and a 10-minute job, but I would like to know that its ok!
