So i've been looking around and i can't find the standard type on sale anywhere.
I can only seem to find higher qualityversions from companies such as MED, Swiftune but they're about £100 odd, so where do i get one?

The standard A+ crank damper is perfectly adequate, if you can find one.

The standard pulley is a damper pulley.

Austin Rover never saw the need to put a damper on the small bore A.
Errm, yes they did. ALL A series engines need a crank damper because of the three main bearing crank, engine size isn't relevant. 998s had a damper pulley just the same as 1275s.
The A+ pulley is actually pretty good as I said above.

there a better quality damper so use them and you will sleep better................
I would do if my wallet would allow me to

To absorb and control harmonic vibrations in the crank and prevent it snapping.
The standard A+ crank damper is perfectly adequate, if you can find one.
I have just a minute ago found and bought a pulley on ebay. I've been looking for the last 3 months and now i bother to post on here about alternatives, a pulley turns up on ebay. Sods law isn't it
