hello, thought id start a bit of a topic on my project as its coming along quite nicely now and looking prity dam fine if i dont say so myself. its roughly based round a mk1 with a stinky a series motor all to the higherst possible standard and no expense spared.. a total magpie car.. i'l get some more pics taken as i go along but here's a few to wet your appetite..

this is about as far as its gotten upto know as the shell just been finished apart from a final flat and polish. iv just got the engine in but the heads only just sat on there and not sorted yet, i must admit it doesnt look very mk1 at the mo but it iv decided to take all the things i love about mk1 and use them instead as i couldnt get a decent enough shell and this one came along which was either a new heritage shell or a end of the line rover spi shell but either way its one off the most mind blowing shells iv ever seen the man that started the work on this shell was an artist. the previous owner of the shell spent a lot of money on it and it definatly shows its just a shame he never finished it but good for me i suppose!

That looks amazing. One of the best minis i have eva seen. carn't stop drowl-ing. What did u paint the subframes in if i may ask?

haha look how clean your garage is! should see mine, door skins, doors, paint tins, rubbish, wheels etc lol
