The shell i have in the garage has a log book etc and most panels and interior, although it is in need of a full resto (due to spending 20 odd years in a barn)
The shell is fairly solid (floors and sills look decent) although there is significant rot in the rear quarter panel. Has various bits in boxes such as light units and glass and bumpers.
Wanting a ball park figure really, as unsure what i want to do with it!
Cheers
Rob.

If you are selling please give me a shout as I may well be interested if the price is right
Wont put a price as I would be biased but would think less than that other one as I saw other photos and it was very solid

Yea i saw that one, but to be fair it was a fair bit more complete than the one i have, as although there was a fair amount of damage it was a complete car...although most parts are there on my shell, the majority aren't bolted on!!
All the parts will have to come off to do a restoration anyway !!
I think you must be talking in the region of £500, but I'm sure someone will be along shortly to say it's only worth £100/£200

if the doors are good that will help you get a good price.
having stuff in boxes is ok so long as you make a list of what is in each box and the condition of each part.
the car SOG was selling was going to need a professional repair as it will undoubtedly need pulling straight before any repair work can start.
so long as urs is straight then 99% of it can be restored in a garage by anyone with a little bit of confidence.
without seeing pics aim to get £500-£800 complete.
hope this helps

Saying that a decent MK2 shell is still a desirable thing, as it happens I've gota rally prep'd one for sale been off the road since 1984 - dry stored - but in need of bodywork but some original cooper s gear on it.
