A silly question I know... but I have brought a 1991 mini

So could someone kindly tell me what Mark it is

Unless it's a Rover Mini Cooper 1.3i, you'll have a MKV there matey (if it is an injection Cooper then it'll be a MKVI): -

But most things from MKIII onwards are interchangeable (unless it's an injection Mini).

A 1991 Mini City won't be badged or classed as a City E. The 'E' bit got dropped a few years earlier.

Anyway, yes it's definitely a Mark 5.
