I have a 2000 Mini Cooper which I love very much. Unfortunately it needs scuttle panel, new wings, bonnet, a-panels, front panel and grill - as they have all died from rust.
I also have a 1985 Mini City that I am (slowly) converting into a 1380 turbo for the track.

This is where my problem appears....

I am having to surrender my license for a year - I haven't broken the law, or done anything naughty, I just can't drive for 11 months - and would prefer not to make it too public

Anyway, do I sell my Mini? I have no drive space, but my dad has offered to garage it for a year. Or I can sell the Cooper, and that would give me a couple of grand to direct toward the Turbo project.

I don't know what to do :dontgetit: I could always buy another Cooper when I start driving again...

Suggestions, comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ok firstly mentioning it on a public forum is not a good way to not make it 'too public', but I'd sell the Cooper and do the project - if you're not driving the Cooper will only get worse and you can actually use your time doing the project in this 'year's sabbatical'.

Haha yeah, I guess sticking it in public forum isn't the best thing to do - it s related to a medical condition and I don't really feel the need to bandy it about

I guess selling is the way forward . . . I just need prodding in the right direction :dontgetit: I'll miss it a lot
