Headlamp plastic bowl thingys

Just a quick Q:
After you remove the headlamp form the mini with the retaining spring and disconnect the bulbs/wires you're left with the plastic bowl bit sat attached to the front wings.

It appears to be rivetted on - is this right, just a case of drilling out the rivets to remove and if so how do people re-attach them?

Self tappers, or rivet back on.

If it needs rivetting, what sort of rivetting gun/tool do I need as its not something I've ever used before.

I just put some small bolts back through mine! Easy! :rolleyes:

I suppose you could use a pop riveter!? :w00t:

Yeh, on the later minis they riveted the bowls on, but can be replaced with a self tapper and those spring type clips on the back for the screw to go through
