92 cooper spi

on the front drivetrain you have the shaft that leads up to the brake disk's....before it goes through there...there is a rubber cone of some sort is it called the c.v joint...

asking becauseits torn and needs replacing

yes it is called a cv joint easy to replace the boot if you have the right tools ie.splitter,socket,for the large nut on the end of the driveshaft ect

when i replace the rubber boot on the drivetrain...when i reconnect the arm and etc will it not put my tracking out...?
