Please give your topic a title that quickly describes your problem. Just putting 'Help my Mini doesn't work' is useless to anyone trying to help.

i dont have any pics but if you open the bonnet and look at the top left hand side of the engine there is a stabilizer there, think theres one or two at the bottom back of the engine too... not to sure but someone will be able to help out...
try do a search for it and have a look trough the project minis you may find it there..

From factory there were two stabilisers fitted.
One is at the back of the engine at the top. Attatched at one end to the mounting plate underneath the brake and clutch cylinders,.. the other end attaches to the cylinder head along with a bracket and sometimes an earth strap.
The other Engine stabiliser attaches to the subframe front and bolts up to the Gearbox Case via a small bracket on the left or right hand side of the engine (drivers side is much more common to find) Look at the sump plug and you'll see the engine steady in the area above it.
There are aftermarket steadies available such as the Adjustable steady from KAD (lovely piece of kit) and the Ultimate Engine steadies (that rip your bulkhead open)
