hi guys

I have taken out my radiator as the fan was catching the surround - some of the rad area is wuite mashed in and the fins are flatend. Do you think it would be wise to put a new mini spares rad in (just in case) the other fails??

Also anyone know if they do a light weight plasic version of one of these?? https://www.plminish...t-PGK10034.html

thanks

You could just get a small flathead screwdriver and bend all the fins straight again - Will take a while though.

The fins don't really provide the structure of the radiator. They're only there to provide a larger surface area to transfer the heat out of the water so yeah that should be fine. It shouldn't leak providing you havn't stamped on it or something
