If you're going to do it all yourself then, in theory not too much...

£200 minimum for an engine and gearbox, plus £100-£150 for all the extras like a clutch pedal, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, clutch hose, gear lever and linkage.

The auto subframe is slightly wider so you'll need engine mount spacers (£15) or a manual subframe (£50)

If you go from a 998 to a 1275 at the same time, you may need new manifolds and a bigger carb.

Most things can be bought secondhand from guys on here or from Ebay.

I've done the job myself, and for quite a bit less than that. £120 for a decent engine & box, £20 for a pedal box, £20 for the clutch hose, cylinder & gear lever from my own stock, made up my own adapters for the subframe. I needed to change the driveshafts but I had those in stock too.

However the OP sounds as though he wants someone to do the work, and I'd estimate adding 50% to the normal labour for an engine swap, whatever that is, plus whatever you can source the parts for.
