My mini is running rich it idles at stand still at about 1100 - 1200,it also does the run on,now i am going to get this sorted by taking it for a tune but i have my mot next tuesday and is it likely to fail on emissions??? if so can i bodge my way through the mot till i get it tuned in a couple of weeks??

if it's running rich it's probable that it will fail, obviously depending on how rich it is running

can i just turn the fuel down on the carb for now??

ahhh, then it will be quite tough!
ok, well yer just lean the mixture, not to much dont want your engine getting to hot.

oh no
why will it be tough? i'm abit of a numpty when it comes to engines at the moment,wheres the screw on the carb to turn it down?
