My window wash/wipe has ceased to work. My wipers work, it's just the wash/wipe, when I push the stalk, nothing happens. I was thinking of fitting a manual window wash pump, like in older cars. The ones I've seen work very well. Would it pass an MOT with a manual screen wash pump?Or would the standard one have to work?

Why don't you just repair the electric one you already have? Probably a simple repair, and I know I'd much rather have an electric rather than manual pump.

This is my backup plan in case I've got to end up buying a new stalk and motor. Hopefully, it'll be a quick fix. I do like the manual wash, quirky and more rugged and less chance of it packing up.
