how much is the local one.

there is nothing to say the 1310 has been abused in the past.

just always be weary of buying a car with no mot as this could bite you in the ass!!

if the guy would mot the 1310 then i would say go for that. but without more details on both it is a tough call

have you looked at insurance for a modded 1310 for a 19y/o? just a thought. also i really wouldnt recommend buying a car without having seen it at all, and i say that with experience of doing that with an MOT'd mini and it seriously backfiring! If you can get down to see the 1310, even if it does cost a fair bit in petrol/train ticket, it could save you a couple of thousand in the slightly longer run.

id get the guy to get the modded one mot'd first. then at least if it fails u'll have a list of what needs doing.
most peole selling cars sell them with mots, the ones that dont have them generaly wont pass and the sellers know.

id go local, 300 quid is a good price. then u can start from scratch, completely strip it down and rebuild it, make it ur own. if thats what u fancy doin.
