What is the widest wheel/tyre combo that you can legally put on a mini (10" & 13") and what arches would i need?

Thinking of building another mini next year and i want to build one that's going to be either a historic race/rally replica or a wideboy street racer. One thing i have always loved and wanted was a mini with the biggest, widest wheels possible without cutting the bodywork arround too much.

Pix if poss please.

Thanks in advance.

10x13 wheels i have seen that's the biggest i have seen you would need miglia's for this - http://www.minispare...amp;prod_id=185

and i have only seen 10x7 and you would need like group 6 arches for something for this - http://www.theminifo...showtopic=96061

Dont count me up on them but there the biggest i have seen.

I've seen 12" wide 13" wheels!

And I'm guessing these are about 8 or 9" wide.
But it uses a different rear subframe, maybe a Metro one.

go a wide as you like as long as roughly 3/4 of the tyre tread is covered. then fit power steering and buy shares in a wheel bearing company

165/70 R10, Yokohama, Falken, Dunlop, ... :P
And there are some 195 trailer wheels with an N or P speed rating.
