Wehey, It's good to see some metal going back on the car. I was beginning to worry you might keep grinding away until there was nothing left
You definitely want to get an auto darkening mask, they make life soooooo much easier, While you at it get some "tig" gloves too.
Nice progress though.

Great work!! keep it up, Defo get an auto darkening mask.. worth every penny. I struggled on for ages with my old mask thinking these new fangled masks were just for girls... Oh boy was I wrong.

nice work mate nd i think 2moz i shud act get work done on my mini lol but its lookin great nd itl look epic at the end and i think your secret for the engine is bigger crankshaft/those special rockers nd valve springs/cylinder head work done/and twin turbos and really good carbs or at least thats what id do with a 998cc if i cud get insurance for it at 17 lol and youve motivated me to work on my mini again and after seein this post im really lookin forward to my nxt mini project so thanx mate lol and keep up the good work

unfortuantly this whole project and parts may be up for sale as i'm having to move house and i'm lacking in time and cash to finish it

i've decided to sell off a load of parts to free up some cash,i'll post pic's here of the parts relating to my advert in the classified section


first up is a set of four 7x13 superlight's with yoko a539 tyres all in great condition absolutley NO kerb marks and tyres are almost new tread is about 5-6mm

one rim pic above is a bit grotty but will give them a damn good clean this weekend,only storage dust and grime


next up a pair of plain black cobra style buckets with subframes no rips or stains just a bit dusty £100




abs 2 piece fiberglass front with cooper 's' style bonnet,lights cut and seam trimmed with storage dust and minor scuffs to gel coat £100

i'm afraid to say the projects gone rowan only thing i have left of it is a f/g front and a set of steel wheels .

i'll be back to it all again at somepoint,the love of mini's never goes!!
