very easy, just need to take a live off something, make sure its has a fuse and a switch in it, the fusebox is close enough, or you could use the stero :goaway:

I wired in 2 Blue led strips to the wiring for the door pin switches and mounted them under the bottom dash rail so that they came on and lit the footwells when i opened the doors. I can take a picture if you want to give you some idea of the effect they give

Your not wrong there !! The interior lights are poor at the best of times.

This may give you some idea of how it looks ...not the best of pictures as it was taken on my Iphone, but they do light the interior up well

Simple to wire up Lee, Just connect one wire from the led strip to the wire off the back of the door pin switches and the other to a fused live, so when the doors open and the pin switch creates an earth the led's come on along with the interior light :P

The ones I used are These

So say I wired them both up to the same live, but the negative to the courtesy switches on their respective sides.

Would they still both come on?

I've had a few different interior lights in mine. My favourite ones where the UV tubes, but useless at lighting up the car at night, but looked cool.

These where pretty good though. They ran off a switch and a constant live.

I've ordered some of those lights linked above, and i've got 100 individual leds which should work as courtesy lights.
