woo hoo, my clubman rally project is coming to an end now, i have just sent it off to be sprayed.

it has a full fibreglass flip front, fibreglass doors and fibreglass boot lid. it will be finished in tahiti blue 93 (pearlesent) with two 3'' white viper stripes running in the centre from front to back.

this is what it looked like today. will post when it comes back, should look the dogs.

tahiti blue is dark blue metalic pearl, looks a little bit perpal in the sunlight. the doors are from www.abs-motorsport.co.uk they are a pig to fit but its worth it for the weight they save. going to check on the progress on friday to take a few pics.

i really can't wate to get her back so i can put everything back together. :D

went to check on the progres of my clubby today, a little bit disapointed......... the guy im getting to spray it said that i picked a really really cool colour but it would show up any blemishes etc in the body, so all the fibreglass would look really stupid and not match the rest  ...

so i went through his massive collection of paint samples (about 8000 in all) and i came across areally cool pastal blue, so i settled on this colour and also added silver flake to be mixed with the lacour. now that is going to be wicked. cant have the viper stripes now though.

im going to get the nitrous bottle done in the same colour to. not all bad. i will try to get a pic of the colour to post, if not will show you all when it is done. :D

you can see on this pic that extra A panels have been added to bridge the gap between the body and the front, pretty good idea of mine. also this will give loads of extra strength to the sides.

all the work will cost near to £2000, a little steep i know but for what im having done its not a bad price really.

just thought i would share with you a pic of the carbon dash. i think you will agree its pretty sexy. i will be adding a nos guage a fuel leval guage and a boost guage to what is already on it, plus all the switches and indicator lamps. also i have put a pus button start on it.
