real carbon it is, i got this dash from abs-motorsport.co.uk. its the switch pod type. glad you like it.

lewis is that your clubby on your avator, looks really nice. do you have any more pics i could see?

i have just got myself a set of four spot lights from ebay. i am thinking of putting them in a two up to down formation on the front, so they will be in a square shape

what are your opinions of this, i think it will look pretty cool but im not sure.

I like the sound of this car!

But why can'y you get the viper stripes?
Paint them on the pastel blue and then put the laquer with the silver flake over the top.

speedo is a smiths cableless guage with magnetic pickup on one of the rear wheels with digital trip.

not sure the strips would work with the flake? what do you think?

if that was my clubby i would be out in it now lol!!! it was owned by an australian named peter stoddart. he sadly died in 1999, i love his clubman

the spots would be in a square shape outside of the grill.
that clubman rocks, i wish i had one that looked remotly like that.

progress on my project
went to the spray shop today to check on the progress, pretty good really, the two new sills and steps are on now, no more rot. i will post pics when i get them. unfortunatly it will not be ready for drag wars though. the prep work is taking longer than expected, a little gutted about that i really wanted to show you all.

so i will be coming to drag wars in my mates clubby instead. see attached pic. she is a bit of a dog at the moment (lol) but its a work in progress

bought this exhaust from minimine who were at drag wars. full stainless, upswept centre exit. pretty cool ha?

havebt posted for a while been busy with work.

ok, decided against the flake. would'nt suit the car, as it is going to be a road going rally car of sorts.

so it will be keeping the viper stripes and will be finished in a very nice yamaha blue.

the bodyshop i took it to still havent done much to it really, they have had loads of resto jobs in leaving no time for mine. im getting a little bit anoyed now as the summer will soon be over and i will have to wate untill next summer to ger her on the road.

will post progress pics in the next couple of days.

ok, i have decided on the colour and now know what it is called.

it is a piaggio scooter colour from 1973, and it is called Azzurro, its a really cool blue, i recon it will look proper tasty with the viper stripes. the picture below shows it on a scooter.

went to see my clubby today to check on the progress.........................
still nothing done!!!!!!!!

ok so the doors are on now,

after talking with the spray dude today i have found out why my mini has not had much done over the last couple of weeks.... he has had loads of other projects going on at the same time and they have been in longer than mine. so now they are all done he has nothing booked in for the next week eccept my clubby.

won't hold my breath though.
