Clutch Removal ?

hi there i am having trouble removing my clutch as it is different to all the ones in the manuals.
i have removed the clutch cover
i have removed the central flywheel bolt and lock washer behind it
i have removed all bolts around the outer edge, releasing the flywheel but the clutch plate still will not come off even using a puller.

any help ??

Have you also removed the big keyed washer from the end of the crank (under the bolt and lock tab)?

The puller will need to be very tight - you'll need a long breaker bar to get enough force on it.

One of mine took over 2 days to come of and then decided to go with that much force it jumped about 10ft across the workshop!!!

I think I was luck with mine it came off easy. But I did put the puller on and put it under a load and left it over night then put a long breaker bar on the next day and it popped off, but it will come off with a bang. The key I found was being able tohold the engine steady while your pushing the bar round, I found using a foot helped

yes i have removed the keyed washer and i now have a puller on it applying 10 tons of force - we shall see what happens :thumbsup:

Make sure the puller is straight and paraell to the flywheel, otherwise you will be pulling at an angle and it wont work.

just to let you know i have got hold of a proper puller and is now on tight, and left for a couple days, will tighten it up again tomorrow - and yes it is straight lol.
