you have my sympathies mate! I've had massive kidney stones before and Renal Colic is bar far and away the WORST pain I have ever experienced!
Lithotripsy is ok but can be really uncomfortable and is not a garaunteed to sort it without multiple treatments!
They can of course operate by going up your japseye with a laser!! good luck with that one! smarts a LOT!!
Get better soon Fella
tell me about it had 2 stones in left kidney in 2003 and had lithotripsy that time several treatments
have 3 in left and some smaller ones in the right this time
their thinking of laser this time or may go in and remove will know monnday
and that how stents went in and out through little stig last time

Aye Up Stig, I hope your condition wasn't the result of eating Rachel's Burgers and Sausages at Gaydon????
Give us a shout if you need anything? I can stick a Blue Light on the roof of the MPi and dash over with the intruder alarm blaring away (is that how you spell "blaring"??)
Nick
Oi > Don't blame my cooking, I've just spent the weekend cooking for the RCMOC gang at Birdingbury !
Get better soon, give us a shout if you need anything, can't have Audrey without her Brenda

I was born there & my Dad ran the Renal Unit there for three decades. I used to be baby-sat by the nurses on the ward. Weird memories.
Hope you don't have to have things shoved up your winkie. That would be bad. My Dad's actually just been through the same thing (poetic justice ) he said he was most relieved that the instruments are now a third of the diameter they used to be when he was using them on others......
Get better soooooon.

So sorry we didn't stop by yesterday, if we had known we'd be round like a flash!
Yeah hope they don't use the unholy entrance! Some say he's proper well tough, others say he left a Stig-shaped hole in the wall as they approached his crown jewels with a tube If you need breaking out I can bring the passes and claim your body for research, could even put a blue light on Vernon and make wee-wooh noises as we disappear off into the distance at 4 miles an hour due to speedbumps.
Just remember to take the crash helmet off when they bring you coffee or tea (gets in the way).
Me and Vern send you our love

Just think of all the sympathy you're gonna get, everytime you tell people what you've had done you can watch them squirm
Hope it goes ok. Once it's all done if you need a lift home just gimme a yell and the Vern delivery service will sneak out of work, it may be slightly bumpy though

Just got back from the Ring, it sends it love to you and misses you! Camp site was really full and rocked with German Heavy Metal and German folk music but it was great to be back there again and to meet up with Barnet. Had some good camp fires.
Hope you are out of there very soon xxx
