if you dont like the look you need yer eyes tested !

Hello,is that specsavers? Ive just seen an awful looking mini and thought i had better book myself in for a checkup.......... Seriously though it looks pap.

EDIT - Yes it does reduce grip, the sidewalls have less flex and therefore traction is broken quicker.

i dont often see cars with revo's as it is...certainly not in my colours...but yes, often there are alot SIMILAR, but because minis are as a whole unique it works!

yer they look good ,i actually think the wheel choice of around the £300 to £500 mark is really poor ,just nice to see people pushing the boundries on styling ,but keeping it real with prices and i think stretch, camber gives you that ?

streching a tyre isnt that bad aslong as you dont go jap and streching a 6'' on a 10'' rim should be fine just pump them up a bit harder. One of my mates has streched a 8'' on a 9'' rim on his 180SX S13 and this is pushing 330WHP with a LSD and hes never had any problems, in my opinion  strech 'em lean 'em deck 'em!!

er...its kawazaki green...if ur going to try insult me get it right.

whys slammed, camber and stretch gay...well to break it down into its main points...
slammed...as you say it is gay WHEN you lower it to such ammount it either becomes unusable or suspension geometry goes out of line. my car is lowered an amount but has had the suspension geometry set correctly for what i use it for...road use and rallying.
camber...nothing wrong on its own but go overboard your wearing your tyres and lessening your road contact patch...poor for grip..poor grip= gay as you cant go round corners fast.
stretch...what a stupid idea, not exactly smart idea to be riding on tyre walls...its not designed for that funnily enough, a little stretch is alright, say a 10 inch 145 onto a 6.5 or pushing 7 fine and dandy but anything over that well, whats the point...may aswell file away at your rim edge because as soon as you deflate a tyre 10 psi your heading onto the rim anyway...not going to go into not being able to go round a corner this time as it should be obvious you would be unable to

yeah but having skinny tyres has less contact patch than a cambered 8''? and the wall will flex for if yourrunning 10's or 12's? and that rubs on the floor?
