Passed MOT today, just a steering rack gaiter and emissions needed a bit of tweaking (thanks to classic car sympathetic garage). Happy days!!

Changed fuseboxes to new ones with silicone grease to try and hold back corrosion, as I found a melted fuse!

Also trial fitted my DSN thermostat housing along with sandwich plate, just waiting on new bolts to fit it all up properly..

You'll need to post a picture when it's all assembled.

I will do! I got an M12 stainless grub screw for the sender and used some loctite retaining compound to hold it in (don't want it coming out!) And I'm getting stainless button heads to hold it all down. Hopefully I like how it looks

Broke a bolt off chasing threads in the mounting bosses on my new radiator. Thankfully some strategic drilling a thread extractor did the trick to remove it. *phew*

Other than that, I discovered I replaced my clutch master cylinder with a brake master cylinder. So that made me feel really dumb. Going to need to find out what sort of problems this will cause apart from the clearance between the brake master cylinder being 0.

Over the weekend I fitted adjustable bottom arms and tie bars, tweeted the suspension a tiny bit. Bought a pair of doors to refurb over the next couple of weeks. Will be sorting the rear suspension and finding a way to fit more speakers and another amp... 😀

Began my engine assembly. Three trips to my local mini specialist for different thrust washers and a genuine transfer cover gasket later and I'm pretty satisfied with how it's looking.

Wanted to get clutch and flywheel on but parental duties

Have you waxed it after polish? As you do realise having paintwork exposed after polish can lead to red cars going pink.

I have yes, no need to worry about that  :proud:
I have good car care products apart from wax, so I need to invest in some good stuff after I get birthdays and stuff out of the way...
