Replaced my fuel sender. Turns out ~1.5 gallons is the on the red line for my MPi.



I wonder why it wasn't working. Can't figure it out.

Hmmmm......nothing obvious there. :)

Test fitted my modified clutch case breather.

I sorted out the Front brakes, got covered in brake fluid and they now work!

Changed the thermostat gaskets

Tightened down bulkhead blanking cover & engine steady.
Removed old rocker cover gasket, cleaned up cylinder head, applied RTV to rocker cover & fitted new gasket.
Also fitted new DSN classic rocker cover thumb screws.
Need a new oil filler cap, then I’m ready to rock!

Finished cleaning and painting the engine bay in the City E ready for rebuilt MG Metro 1275 to drop in next week

Move the mini out on to the drive worked on motorbike and move it back in

removed rear sportpack arches and removed bummer mould, fibreglassed smooth to match the no rear bumper.

Filled the radiator with coolant & put the battery on trickle charge.

Found out why the pot joint would't fit in the diff cover, they should be 31.75mm or 1.25"

First one is 31.82mm / 1.2524"

 

other side 31.78mm / 1.2512

Had a long drive in the sunshine, MOT time tomorrow so thought it would be good to have a shakedown. fingers crossed all is good. Let see what the MOT man says tomorrow.

Cleaned the carb out, and “ stuff” from the jets.
Out in the cold air this morning , like a different car!
