Looking fantastic!

I'm surprised they never used the same type of hinge screw for the doors as on the saloon boot lid.

Thank you

Yes I know , makes finding replacements 10x more challenging

Went out under its own steam ( after a full clutch kit replacement)... and a trip to shops ... apart from rattling gear lever , that sounds like gearbox is trying to make a break for freedom ( bush ordered), was a relative success .. ( guy at Asda wanted a pic of car and chat )

Not much to do ????? I bet am still putting together / finishing off night before 1st show ..3 weeks

Gear lever housing has done my head in for .... eternity

A fresh pair of eyes ( green and white mini specialist ) tweaked fitting ( think I made it worse!) then spotted lower arm bush / cup wasn’t the right one for the kad quickshift .?

A quick email to Kent auto developments confirmed this and they sent me one ... gratis ... top service ??

Have fitted this tonight .... much tighter and precise ( had to back off mounting bolts as too tight) , will see if it rattles on next shake down .

Old one left , new one right

Had a few hours on car today ... with extra pair of hands ( thanks ace Alex)

Best laid plans ... Pah .. each ‘planned’ job should start and end with :

1- whatever I get done , the car should not be on fire at the end of it .

So job done ??

Got in some panel trim, sound deafening and locks for rear seat

Only three pics to summarise our efforts!!!

At least the weather was decent...bit of sunshine helped to boost motivation! ?

You’re nearly finished, just the front/rear sections to fit and side panels trims to add...bing, bang, bosh.

Day 2 on carpets ....

Most sections in , front bulkhead needs pieces fitting and a few sections need more trimming to help it lay flatter .

Then putting everything back in

Seats
Seat belts
Battery
Cold feed tube
Accelerator pedal
Fire extinguisher
Oh and I have black tailored mats front and rear

..without meaning to be provocative (..i'm aware some carpets sets can be 'challenging'..), carpets look like to be a good fit. where did you get them from ?
