Not another white one.. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :( atleast it doesn't have a red frame I guess :D

Looks like you're making good progress and i'll also be watching this space, keep it up.

One little question though, what are you doing ref the wheels? They look a little lost in those arches!

The rear wheels need some small spacers(probably 10mm ish) and the tracking is a mile off, then they'll come sweet.
The fronts need pulling out quite a bit more, bigger spacers. I just haven't got round to doing it yet :)

Once the geo is done it should help loads; mine were in a fair bit and luckily it was sorted (pretty much) when this was done. Still might need a little spacer on the fronts though depending on what wheel I run! time will tell.

When do you hope to have the car finished?

Yeah, the wheels are all over the place so the geometry setup will help a lot.
Hopefully ill have the car ready for around christmas time, or just before.

Do you have a deadline for yours?

Has the bonnet been smoothed in? If so, can you still get the trim on it?

Not really in any rush now, I missed my first deadline which was the end of the summer, so have now changed plans slightly (added a few more bits to the shopping list!) and taking it slowly as i wouldn't use it over the winter period anyway.

A few bits have taken a little longer than expected (carbon fibre stuff) and the fuel system components were on a stupid lead time from the states which totally fecked me up (still waiting for delivery now actually), but for the savings it's worth the wait.

If all goes well it'll be early part of summer and i can't wait.

Hi all,
Got some more pics to whack up, but first, if anyone is familiar with the Volvo engines, any info on where abouts these pipes might go?

Also, and obv more so to the Volvo builders, any info on the wiring configuration to the starter motor would be great. Just struggling on that one a little.

Really well mate. Not posted much because I just haven't found the time.
All the wiring is complete, the engine is running good, lights indicators etc all working.
Just need to install windows, carpets and general finishing pieces before its a goer!

My god!
Has anyone had any problems with these dta ecu's.
Biggest pile of s**t I think I've ever bought.
Had the engine working fine on it the other day, with a good clean crank sensor reading.
Came back to it and the whole bloody things gone wappy with the sensor reading talking complete ******* with it being ununiform and absolutely all over the place!
Rung z cars, and dta, and noone seems to be able to offer any constructive advice. The guy at dta sent me a picture of the reading and what it should look like(bear in mind I have seen this as my engine WAS runningand want advice on how to rectify the current issue) with some useless text to accompany it.
I've been on this for the last few days, and am completely at wits end...

Kinda wishing I'd just put a standard Volvo ecu on it, instead of this hunk of crap.

Has anyone had any similar problems that they have sorted regarding the s40 dta ecu?
Help much much apreciated!!!
