Just phoned the garage about my mini (went for an M.O.T) that went like 4weeks ago !!! All welding been done and suspension pin :S what ever that was and some boots, some new wing mirrors fitted and new smoked lights all done get to either pick it up tonight or tomorrow :) all that costs me £210 then my insurance this morning cost me £1600 !!!!!!!!! And now I'm going to buy tax on my lunch break which is £135 lol sounds good good !!!! :)

Yeah the work was cheap but he takes the mick in doing doing it when he says he will, but I want him to fit my 6x12 on my car so it would mean him cutting bits of the arch but I think I might leave it for a while because I want to enjoy my mini in the sun sun sun lol

Mine was £1000 because Footman James bent me over. I cried O_O .

my insurance is £780 with quite a hella lot mods on the car and im 20!

pay him to put ur wheels on?? get the grinder or air saw out, and some mole grips, bend the flange thats there back flat, cut the amount you want to come off, off. leaving enough metal to recreate the flange (alot of people dont even do this) then use the molegrips to make the flange... paint over ant bare bits... job done for free minus about half an hour an arch :) (rear arches are a different story)

Yeh if I waited 1more month it goes down to £1100 but I thought meh I need a car for where I live so .. Abd I really would do the arches my self but I know for a fact I will mess it up lol I'm good with mechanical work but when it comes to body work I'm out lol :)... But I might have ago on my old rusty shell see if I can do it so.. :)

just dont cut too much off and urll be fine lol! unless you can weld then i guess fine either way ;)

Lol I might have ago then .. If I mess it up just take it to a garage lol :) and I have mods on mine, it has stage 1 kit and alloys put on the insurance so not bad for 18 year old with mods :)
