It's easy to miss the lower washer that's all.
The braided hoses are handed too - one has a deeper threaded section.

That is true! I did wonder if they were handed, but I didn't want to remove it all to find out that they weren't. In hindsight, I should have. But it will be fine. Thank you though

I got reminded of this thread recently and had a wee nostalgic scan through.

In the interest of closing it off, life and a new career got in the way back in 2015. The car was completed in 2016 and went through a few upgrades including becoming a Stage 3 998. I participated in a Pure Rally trip through Europe, too.

In to 2017, interests and hobbies diversified and I started to fall out of love with the car. It was advertised for sale and ended up being purchased by a lovely chap in Hawaii of all places! So March 2017 the Mk3 was taken to the docks.

Here are some pictures of what it was like finished and from the rally.

Fear not, I have a couple of minis mothballed, all in project form, so I will return!

Great job - looks really nice, shame you got rid of it after all that work.

Cracking job. Like what you've done with the otherwise horrible looking standard air filter box and those seats look comfy
