You ditch the factory alarm n immobiliser witch to be honest are kack imo, no problems in getting it set up just took it to my tuner and its been great ever since! That was about a year ago i do believe it is a fit and forget set up but obv any perfomance mods after the existing map will need a tickle up on a rolling road

Getting rid of the factory alarm and immobiliser is a huge problem for me as I have central locking fitted which works with original key fob....

Haha, this is sounding better and better as my factory alarm just randomly stopped working. Car starts without issue just annoying that its there an not doing anything.

What does the ECU look like and where do you mount it? Is there a hook up for the vacuum line that runs to the brake booster?

Lol! Yes i read a few threads on here about dodgy immobilisers! Yes they supply an adaptor that goes onto the manifold that they supply so you just need to reroute the pipe, the ecu is just a black box really lol and i believe it mounts on the original brackets, mines mounted different as i have a flip front and brave bars

Do you have any pix of your setup? This pix on their site are tiny. Its funny how compact it all is compared to the Rover unit. Looks like a lot more hoses though. I saw the ECU on their site as well. Its the small typhoon box, correct.

I have (or will have soon with a new head) a similar setup to you and would be really interested what you end up pulling on the RR. I know its completely subjecting but still, good to have hard data.

Probably a silly question but I take it if you left the original ecu in the car, but run the engine off the SC ecu, the rover one wouldn't work the alarm..
