Haha yeah well fingers crossed the van should be getting moved into the work shop and some panels order and then i will get on to it.

 

Said i wouldnt start it until the sidewalk was done but i can do both lol

 

i will start a threa of the van or whats left of it lol

Thanks, and yay another sidewalk owner, i am at the point now where i am waiting for some panels to arrive then i can tidy up the metal and start getting some panels on.

 

What is your sidewalk like?

My Sidewalk is a tough little cookie! That said, she failed her MOT on Friday... £400 worth of repairs needed to the driver's door and sills... This weekend actually marks 2 years since I bought her! Since then, I've had new wheels fitted, new suspension, stage 1 kit, and lots of cosmetic touches (new carpets, headlamps, bumpers and shiny chrome bits here and there. Really need to get saving for a respray...

Sounds like a nice little mini if i am honest :) and i would have loved to have had mine as rolling project like that. I will have to look out for it at shows etc??

Sorry for the late reply right panels should be ordered by the end of the week here is another update... on another area of rust which i didnt think was that bad until i took the a-panel off...

I have however got on with my boot floor it just had minor surface rust, I got the wire wheels on the grinder and sorted that out and treated and primed the area also.

Also picked these up a little while back ready for the rebuild, some nice 10x6 KN Mercury wheels :) these will be painted in their original colours again, and wrapped in some yoko rubber...
