Hello TMF folk,

Just starting up again on the mk2 now i have finaly made a clearing in the garage, i,ve fitted the inner stiffener and i'm about to do the rest of the Apost which consists of the switch panel and the flitch.

What i'm needing from you lovely people is possibly measurements on your A-posts interior light switch hole to the bottom edge of the lower dash rail, this i feel is the only/best accurate way of getting it placed in the correct position so if you could help it'd be greatly appreciated :proud:

Thankyou,

Cliff

So thats 2" from the outer most edge of the switch hole

Thankyou so much, you're a god!

Thought this may be a longish wait but you,ve hit the nail on the head thankyou, Just wondering your thoughts on these Repo panels, you rackon the hole is in the right place ? im guessing they haven't been complete numpty's and pressed it out in the wrong place but someone might have an opinion from similar experience

Cheers,

Cliff

Yes 2" / 5cm is about right.

It's impossible to say, but if it's an m-machine panel (it looks like your 1/4 floor repair is) it's likely to be accurate... other pattern panels who knows!

You've got a mammoth task there and not much to work with, just shout if you need any more dimensions. Good luck. Simon.

Gotcha! ;)

And afraid its one of the few panels i'm using that not M-machine, Doh! >_<

Yeah alot to do, i have a project thread on here you can have a ganders through and possibly follow if you will and give us a lift along the way if you like :D  : http://www.theminifo...y-mini-project/

The best (worst) part will be the doors, mainly welding in the mk1/2 B-posts O_O

Thanks again,

Cliff
