i'd say it was a lovely car in its hayday and i'm sure it will be just as lovely restored, actualy fair play to you restoring it because its a very brave project but a reshell would ruin it!!
can't wait to watch this come together, i'd love it

Interior out (excluding dash due to the weather being s.h.1.t.
Rear l/h floor pan is out (what was left of it anyway)
N/s wing off but not without donating some blood & shredding some skin .
& also someone asked for clear photo of the dash so here it is.

but one thing i cant understand is, why does a mini rally car with no power assisted steering have a small mountany 10" wheel????? crazy! must have arms like he-man!

amazing project i so agree on repairing the shell but i would brace the shell before you cut anymore away
Hi i think i will repair the shell as is ,but i dont know were to brace before cutting it as all of the front door frame and flitch panel is not structural
anymore. The door posts/sill have bought the farm (Spoken in an American accent).
& also i have been left out side due to the garage having a giat jag project in.
p.s. my sense of humor lacks errrr HUMOR.

you could weld from level ,from the front window to the back side window and diagonals of that,if the body sags you will have a night mere,oh get the jag out
