Good project, only thing I can see is you have a heritage floor and it looks like an early pickup with round front tunnel, are you going to chop tunnel out of old floor, I would have gone with a m machine full floor as it's a great platform to start from, it's one of the best things I bought when starting my mk2 project.

We did look at the m machine floor but they had a couple of month waiting list on it so we will chop the section out and fabricate a new one

The customer came down to day to remover the rear subframe so he can strip the hubs and stuff down to refurb whilst i am doing the body, well it doesnt look any better under there lol...

Well got one step closer to starting work on the pickup we collected a chassis jig to mount it on there isnt much good so will help make sure everything is square and lined up... just waiting for the rear subframe to turn up so we can mount it on the jig.

ok we are back on the pickup now so updates should be a bit more frequent..

have got the subframes mounted to the jig so we can start the build up from there..

 

Started chopping off whats not needed umm not going to be a lot left
