Well got the cab section blasted toay so we can see what we have got to work with..

All pickups are worth saving.

You are a very brave man, it looks like the only things you can save are the roof and the back of the cab.

Yeah theres not a lot of the original that will be able to be used not sure if we will use that roof or another one that came with the car front and back bulk heads should be save able..

Sounds a little bit like the build we are doing the roof will need replacing but should be able to save the front and back bulkheads.

Looking at the original shell, I would have no idea where to start! Good effort so far, look forward to seeing progress as I love pickups!

Had a few more hours on the pickup yesterday there is even less original metal now

more work done on the pickup ..Started to strip off the windscreen panel..

then started blasting a donor cab section to see if the roof is any better than the original one

Yeah this got to be the worst car we have ever restored. certainly a lot of work

 

Donor roof blasted this one is in better condition
