I fix the suspension as it had a wobble under breaking. That's gone but it makes an annoying noise on big bumps, nothing loose I checked. It's all tight in the handling side,it just makes a noise.

most likey the antiroll bar bushes. top tip when replacing is to fit new bush then use the rear calliper bolt to pull the bracket into the subframe then remove and tighten fully with the original. the bolts are very short and with a new bush it can be very hard to get the mounting bracket close enough to the subframe to thread the bolt in.

You don't say if its front or rear. Did the suspension fix include replacing the drop links?

Yep,replaced anti roll bar bushes and drop links as well. The bushes were just like you said,I did it just like you described. A bit annoying is all. I will leave it for a few days and let it settle and then have another look. It drives the best it has for a while,it just makes a clonk on big bumps.

Front lower arm bush? (Console bush)

Those are a total ******* for going on many VAG cars, they're not super-simple to replace either so get left until totally mullered.

Maybe totally unrelated but I had this on a Focus, the most annoying rattle. Took it back to where I got it from and they changes the drop links and ARB bushes and it still did it. Turned out to be the wheel trims they had fitted rattling about, put some original Ford ones on and all went quiet.

I had a problem on a Vauxhall Vectra B where there was a clunk at the front somewhere, only when going over rough roads, turned out to be the N/S CV joint.... after replacing every bush and a complete suspension system...

I have a Bora. Check your track rod ends. I had an annoying knock which I was convinced was ARB droplinks. Turned out to be a dodgy TRE - once replaced it was great.
