Hehehe right I amin Argentina... But I buy everything on main centers like minispares and minisport. 

 

I have a very new electrical system, not a mini one. It was done so as to fit lots of things

 

Having same problem with my other mini, but it has de 2 clock dial

LM7810 is only the code for Maplins .....google it and yu should be able to pick up an equivalent three pronged solid state voltage regulator from any generic electronic/electrical hardware shop ...even in Argentina push comes to shove ...pay the postage and i'll try and send you one   :)

and you have a Haynes manual? if not please get one. they do cover just about everything. including the voltage regulator and position.

I have a lot of haynes manuals... and knew it had a voltage regulator there hehehe

 

I seen it before but why cant it affect the temperature if the temp gauge is not in there at all

a quick 101 on how the system works,

 

the gauges are fed from 10v from the voltage stabalizer, although its not a stable 10v it actually pulses a bit as its a bimetalic strip, but should average out to 10v.

 

the gauge is shorted to ground via the temperature sensor the resistance of the gauge and the sender are matched to give the right reading so for diferent years and difernet manufacturing areas there was different gauges and due to that senders. innocentis in particular are hard to find senders for.

Hi Guys! How can you notice if the water pump is not working good? Because I think maybe also I have that issue.
