dash is coming along nicely, changed my mind around a thousand times. Wasn't sure to go back original or custom.

the look will be a pull out 6" touch screen DAB radio in the centre, a Land Rover discovery switch panel in green where the glove box was, and the clock surround will be green with chrome inserts

really liking the stuff from R-TECH, the Quality seems really good and a three year warranty is nice too lol

haven't TIG welded since college, so will see what happens. I was thinking of making a video of my first attempts. never know might help someone learn from my mistakes

todays challenge was stripping the Mini down enough to be able to pick it up and put it into the tent.

D0YFx37.jpg

first thing was to drain the fluids

NA78qtI.jpg

HCaJJCG.jpg

bet you can't guess which is coolant and which is oil lol

second I removed the inlet side of things and a couple of parts surrounding the engine and the radiator

nHseAmm.jpg

then made some prep work on dropping the full engine and front subframe

and this soon followed, not sure it worked as well as I had hoped lol

then it was just the small task of picking the Mini/engine up and moving them ( 100% easier said than done )

question chaps.

You can upload up to 309.52K of files (Max. single file size: 309.52K)

I now only have the above space for more pictures ? is something wrong here or? is there a better way to upload
