From 'Complete Catalogue of the Mini' - page 213 from the 'Coachbuilt Mini' chapter:-
Oyler%20Contessa-book_zpsxpdwz566.jpg

Tilling Mini de Ville, Oyler Contessa and W&P Margrave - from an old Motor Magazine I kept from 1975.

They were built and converted by Tilling Automotive in London.

They also sold winding window kits for early Mini's with sliding windows in the 1960's.

More about Tilling's Mini de Ville in link below:-

http://maximummini.b...i-de-ville.html

I bought a set of Tilling wind up window conversions for my Mk1 sliding window doors in the 1970's and a new matching set of Tilling Smoked Grey Tinted Windows.

The company was called Tilling Automotive Ltd.
6 Adam & Eve Mews
Kensington
London W8

Their advert at the time read:-
'Mini and Cooper Owners bring your pre-1970 car Up To Date
Fit Winding Windows
Also Tinted windows for all Minis.
Phone 01-937 1166 or write for a brochure'.

This is interesting, reminds me of when I posted on here about The Oyler Contessa,

The Mini Forums unofficial Historian ;D mab01uk  came back to just as this!

The result is I have now bought and restored the car back to the way it should be

as it left Oylers, do you own a Tilling or are you interested in them,

If you are not aware The Cooper Register have a Coachbuilt display at Beaulieu on

the 10 of June, I don't know if there will be any Tillings there, I will have my Contessa

there.

It would be great to see a rare Tilling Mini included in the special Coachbuilt Mini Display at the Beaulieu Mini Day in June if you can make it?

A rare surviving Tilling De Ville 1275 Mini above as recently seen on Facebook by TMF member Sid Trunley.

(Photo above posted on behalf of Sid - many thanks for sharing)

Sid is the owner of another rare silver Tilling De Ville Mini (see photo below)....so we now know two that have survived to the present day!

Thanks for posting this, (both)!!

Going by the registered numbers there is a possibility I know the owner

I have never seen it though.
