Hi,

Just read through your thread, amazing build, attention to detail is superb.

How long have you had it back on the road ?? surprised I've not seen it driving about as i only live in Leamington and drive past your work quite often.

My latest project has a very similar look to your van, so if we do ever pass, people will have to do a double take.

Hi Nicnoo..thanks hope you enjoyed the read...its not quite finished yet just the usual small jobs to finish..was hoping to get to Stanford this weekend but obviously thats been cancelled..Its only been on the road a few weeks Gaydon being its first longest run and a local car meet last week..Been fighting a intermittent ruining issue which i think is solved so i may be out more often and risk a trip to work..Yours is looking mighty fine and is not dissimilar to my previous MK1 build..Look forward to seeing it done and possibly pop to see it..Cheers  Mark..

Hi Paul..the grille core is off an Aston Martin DB4GT which has been cut down to fit the mini aperture ..It still needs the outer trim making but that's a job  for over winter..Cheers

Finally emerged from lock down with a recently finished custom front grille and all captured for a future feature in a magazine. :-)

Am liking this, however I have a Cliubman, so where this has 4 staggered at the back, I want to put 4 in also but each one a block of 3, and the ones lower down I will also do as three but upside down, if that makes any sense. I think these ar about 4 ins in length which look just right..........thanks for the picture. looked at the bracing inside the bonnet, no problems there.
