ha !  i like to think i'm competent, but i'm certainly no wiring guru   , and as far as batteries are concerned other than cranking amps and storage time details the rest of it is lost on me

 

had a look but couldn't find the one you mentioned - the one in the PG series that looks most likely would be the 12V21 as it's quite small and at 200amp max discharge should be more than enough to start a mini.  looks to hold it's charge pretty well too; 20% charge loss over 6months

Slight typo on my end PG-12V21B ..Had a reply from the guy today as was unsure about cranking amps..his response no trouble in the 4 years he has been using them ..Ideal for me as I will mount it under the load bed out of the way..your wiring is perfect so take a bow..

Couple more ticks off the list being the bonnet badge and final install of the battery..just add fuel I I could venture around the block !..

Thanks...yes the original set up served its purpose but also added to the floors disappearing over time !..I could have driven it yesterday but decided to watch the GP instead ..Will re schedule this week

Looking great , huge milestone getting to drive it albeit round the block. If anything like mine snagging list will seem to go on forever .... but all worth it in the end ( camber on front looks a little odd ? , maybe angle of pics?)

Thanks longtime..yes a few areas needing attention the camber being one...I recently changed them to adjustable so will get that sorted pronto..let the snagging begin..

I like that mirror mount, saves having to drill the door, I was going to compromise and just get a clip on one. What have you done regarding the internal catch for it? Looks really nice, such a clean build, mine won't turn out this nice!

Thanks..im not a fan of door mirrors so this is the closest i can get without drilling..It Mounts through the existing catch so it still functions as normal...
