Hey there,

I bought a refresh kit from them about 6 weeks ago and still havent received it. I know I am in Italy so it is going to take a little while, but it shouldnt be this long. They used to have chat support on their site, but every time I check there is no one there.

I have emailed twice, and still havent gotten anything back.

Any experience with these guys?

Thanks,

Ricardo

They're a terrible company.

I recently ordered some parts from Australia to Britain on a Thursday, had them the following Monday.

I think you need to contact them.

I read that thread but saw their responses and how much time has passed by, and how responsive they were with questions for weeks before the sale... And took the chance.

Feeling silly about it, but I'll give them another couple of days before I set up a stop-payment on my credit card

Just an update in case anyone is following:

They still havent responded to my emails and I dont see anyone available to chat anymore.

I did go into Paypal (i had paid through it hoping they would help if there was an issue) and filed a complaint and refund request.

ASS still hasn't responded but they did switch my orders to an "On Hold" status and responded to Paypal with something I cant see.

Oh well, let's see what happens.

Final update for you guys...

I got a notification from my card that I was refunded. Got the money back less than a week after paypal got involved.

Also, their main https://shop.aseriesspares.co.uk/ URL now redirects to https://shop.imperialnutsandbolts.com/

Good luck out there people.

According Companies House records, A-Series Spares Ltd, was registered as a company in 2012 and seemingly left unused. Nothing wrong with this, some people register the company to secure the name

The limited company was dissolved on 25 September 2018, however they never filed company accounts, meaning they never traded under the Limited company legal entity, so were just trading as A-Series Spares. A bit peculiar to run a non limited company and website of the same name of the Limited company you have registered.

Obviously the address of A Series Spares and Imperial Nuts & Bolts is the same, and from checking the VAT number on Imperial Nuts & Bolts website, it is the VAT number for A Series Spares.

I hope that wasn't my fault. I don't know if they are shady or not, and in the end I got my money back soon after requesting it, so I feel meh about it.

I think it a great shame that this company has gone like this. They used to have some good mini items.

But there is absolutely no excuse for the way that they seem to have conducted themselves.
