Re fitted loom and I thank all is good with one (hopefully) exception, on terminals 7 and 8 has red to 7 and two red and greens to 8 there is also another connection with is unmarked for colour but it looks like it should be blue and white, I can’t find a cable anywhere that would go onto that fuse

It’s the one I’m working from, 84 multi instrument on terminal eight on the diagram there is a wire shown
Coming horizontally out between the two red and green what colour should it be it’s not marked but it joins into blue and white

I think that could be a mistake in the diagram.

connecting a UW there would put the main beam on when the light switch is in the sidelight position.

 

The connection is not shown on the other ‘84 diagram and that should be no different with respect to the lighting wiring.
