My radiator drain plug started to weep so I took it off to find all the threads have stripped, anybody know how it is supposed to seal and where I can get another one from can’t really get in to see the radiator threads but they feel alright, or anybody know the thread on it, it is an unusual part?

Only just managed a couple of miles today

That looks rather like a fan switch blanking plug. Most mini fan switches I think are M22 x 1.5
I'd imagine it should have a dowty washer to seal it.

That looks like the kind of thing, but unfortunately it looks like the rubbish plastic blanking plug that was fitted to my Radtech radiator. The '0' ring doesn't have a nice groove to locate in and gets squeezed out of the plug as you tighten it. I struggled to find a decent replacement plug on line and ended up making my own on the lathe.

If it is M22 x 1.5 you could just fit a fan switch as a plug.
