Hi everyone, iv just got my first mini and its pretty much my dream car, a 1973 blaze orange 1275gt, i got it for 750 off ebay. it wasnt running when i went to pick it up but it is now, it came with loads of spare parts and an engine crane lol. the spare parts include, spax shocks all round, aluminium rollcage, 5 minilites, boot board, 1 3/4 su, k&n filter, engine steady, brand new webasto sunroof, cobra classic bucket seats. iv fitted all of the parts now, still needs quite a bit of work but im looking forward to it. let me know what you think. also suggest mods u think would be good. cheers, benn.

thats nice!

keep the mk3 lights, you can do away with the fog light because of the age of it, reversing light isnt needed either

Can anybody recommend a camshaft for road use, or would you keep the standard cam, please help as i want to start putting my engine back together and need to know which parts would be best, while the engine is out of the car. its only so i dont regret changing the parts later when it is back in the car, cheers. benn
